Installation Process
Walk through with us on the installation process form Wall signage to Ceiling accent built up.
Step 1. Fabrication and Site Laying
The signage cutout is fabricated through CNC Machine based on the approved drawing. Then is delivered on site for laying, while checking actual condition for site readiness and wall plumbness prior to installation.
Step 2. Installation
Installation of wall substrate, 12mm marine plywood to ensure proper support before fixing the wall signage built up.
Step 3. Grass Turf Installation
To create volume, we provided additional backing for the artificial grass turf to overlap, 10mm from the wall signage.
Step 4. MDF Ceiling Accent Built up installation
In every project it is important to know the flow especially on the installation process. in this step, the ceiling built up is pre requisite to Wall signage installation.
With overall length of 7.40 meters, we customized MDF built up based on the approved drawings. This was divided into six sections for easy installation. We used saddle eye strap with tension wire hooked to ceiling slab. Additional support from wall is also installed by the use of wall washers to ensure overall safety.
Step 4. Section alignment
The challenge of per-section installation is the alignment. By the use of laser level, adjustments were made to ensure everything is perfectly plumbed and aligned. We made sure all obstructions are cleared and services were installed as per approved locations (e.g lighting fixtures) All sections are properly fixed to minimize retouch.
Step 5. Final retouch
The final finish for both joinery works are ducco paint finish and due to the nature of the building LEED standards, our team used low VOC paint to finish the project.
Fact: VOC stands for Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids
